"Wailing in My Bathtub At Three in The Morning" focuses on the pressure society exerts on the younger generations - not just in terms of beauty, but also academically. The face of the model is being squeezed through her bony, worn down fingers, eyes bulging, lips melting. This symbolises the immense societal stress - which I have chosen to represent through a distortion of human form. It is also a direct callback to my many breakdowns in various bathtubs.
