Instaurare is a Goldsmiths BA Design project designed by four individuals [Elaine, Mars, Paulo and Stella] about the community dark store; as we believe as a collective in the social space of the grocery store. Throughout the pandemic lockdowns, the grocery store has become one of the last spaces for socialising, communicating and interacting with other human beings. By combining the idea of the dark store - warehouses made for the storage of supply products - and the local grocers, we hope to introduce Instaurare as a way to connect supplier to consumer directly.
